Since 1992, Villa Gaia by Romy Staib has been making the finest knitwear with a real love and passion for the craft of knitting. Located next to Chiemsee lake, the company works exclusively with cashmere yarns from the world’s best spinning mills and every piece has its own unique loop structure. This attention to detail is also revealed in Villa Gaia’s clear and modern design philosophy: less is more. With simple, yet detailed looks, the soft knitwear pieces underline the individuality and personality of their wearer. Along with high-quality basics, the collection also includes unique one-off pieces.
Sustainability and fair production conditions are integral to the company philosophy. As well as producing in Germany and paying fair wages, the label also boosts its eco credentials by avoiding the use of any harsh chemical treatments for its products, using plastic-free packaging and opting for ecological detergents.
You can visit the Villa Gaia pop-up box at Bikini Berlin until the end of the August.
