BIKINI BERLIN: Shop Openings, new tenants, Supernova

There has been quite a lot going on since the opening of the BIKINI BERLIN Concept Mall on 3 April this year. 12 openings have been celebrated, 2 new Boxes tenants have moved set up shop and Teufel/Raumfeld and Supernova are expanding their offer. And visitors can look forward to the arrival of two new tenants, who will be opening over the next few months. 90 percent of the spaces are currently let.

 

NEW TENANTS

The label Manila Grace, which was established in 2005 in Bologna, will be moving into a 95 m² space on the ground floor. The finest materials and high-quality finishes ensure that this selection of premium ladies’ fashion will become a favourite addition to any wardrobe. Manila Grace produces exclusively in Italy, impressing with extravagant tailoring and colours. The shop will be opening in time for Fashion Week in July.

 

Terner, the luxurious traditional retailer from Hanover, will be moving into a space on the first floor in late summer. In addition to high-quality business fashion by international designers, Terner will also be presenting sporty young outfits for ladies and men on a retail area of 250 m². The high-quality range will also include shoes and accessories to perfect the look.

 

 

GASTONOMY & SERVICE OPENINGS

The restaurant The Eats, which opened on 11 June, is a culinary destination offering delicious crossover cuisine. Spread over three floors of theBikinihaus, The Eats offers quality, international cuisine at a delicatessen, bar and lounge on 1200 m². An additional highlight is the outdoor area on the rooftop garden.

 

Traditional company Kusmi Tea, which was founded in 1867 in Russia and is now based in France, is renowned for its black and green teas as well as for its special tea blends made according to historical recipes. Since 6June visitors to Bikini Berlin have been able to discover the world of tea for themselves and sample the many different blends on an area of more than 100 m² on the ground floor.

 

Kaffee Einstein is expanding its previous gastronomy offer by 160 m² on the ground floor, directly next to the East entrance. With an adjoining outdoor area, coffee lovers are invited to indulge in the tradition of Italian and Viennese coffee culture. The coffee shop’s exclusive bar offers additional refreshments.

 

Kaiser’s, the German capital’s No. 1 supermarket,opened its doors on 15 April on the ground floor of the Concept Mall. On an area of 570 m² the supermarket stocks a premium range of groceries, paired with excellent product quality and attentive service.

 

The Gelateria La Luna on the ground floor is the perfect place to relax after a shopping spree. Since 4 April shoppers have been indulging in the Italian dolce vita in the form of first-class ice cream creations as well as coffee specialties, on an area of 120 m².

FASHION OPENINGS

 

The LABO.ART collectionstands out with its clear, pure design in the highest quality, flowing fabrics. The Italian label opened its doors on 3 June on the first floor, on a retail space of 110 m².

 

Awaiting visitors to BIKINI BERLIN since 22 May is a new, spacious store by Riccardo Cartillone, whose extravagant creations were previously on sale at the pop-up area on the first floor. With an exclusive shop design on the ground floor covering an area of 360 m², Italian ladies’ and men’s shoes as well as accessories are now on offer.

 

The Supermarket Concept Space opened in a pavilion building on the 7000 m² rooftop garden on 16 May. Awaiting the visitors is a unique shopping experience on over 830 m², including an outdoor area. The Serbian retail concept is a mix between a restaurant, bar, event location and fashion store.

 

Following the huge success of its pop-up store in a BIKINI BERLIN Box, from 10 May the Italian multi-label Groove Fashion Denim is putting down longer-term roots in BIKINI BERLIN. On the ground floor on an area of 85 m² the company from Rome is presenting casualwear, jeans and shirts by well-known brands, as well as sneakers.

 

Italian shoe label Bagatt opened its first shop in Berlin on 10 May, on the ground floor covering an area of 100 m². The range includes ladies’ and men’s shoes as well as handbags, which are exclusively produced in Italy.

 

The shop concept by Berlin eyewear makers Mykita combines the label’s own aesthetic with optometric precision made in Germany. Since 28 April they have been presenting stylish spectacles and sunglasses on the ground floor on an area of 120 m².

 

Fashion from Denmark can now be found at Ganni on the second floor of the Concept Mall. Fashion, accessories and shoes with purist elegance and creative tailoring not only convey the incomparable style of the Scandinavian fashion label, but have, since 19 April, also been impressing BIKINI BERLIN visitors on a retail space covering 105 m².

 

 

NEW BOXES TENANTS

There are two new additions to the BIKINI BERLIN BOXES to announce. The Boxes can be rented temporarily to present ideas and products as well as to test out unique concepts: Dagwood from Berlin presents colourful heritage-driven golf and lifestyle products including bags, shoes and accessories. At Urbanara visitors can shop home textiles and accessories. The online brand is synonymous with high-quality workmanship and modern design at affordable prices.

 

 

EXTENDED OFFER

Swiss concept store June, which was established in 2013 for Art Basel, is moving into the Supernova store for six weeks, right on time for its namesake month of June. Since 2 June the concept store has been complementing their existing Nike/Firmament range with hand-picked beauty products, high fashion, accessories, books and souvenirs.

 

In addition to the world’s first flagship store at BIKINI BERLIN, since 9 May Teufel/Raumfeld has been presenting their impressive home cinema. The Teufel Soundkino (Sound Cinema) presented in a spacious 350 m² in the basement of the former Berlin nightclub Linientreu is wowing shoppers with an impressive sound experience.
