UNFINISHED PEACE - Lars Stenchly

Starting from September 12, 2025, CSR.ART Contemporary Show Room at BIKINI BERLIN will present the first solo exhibition of the young artist Lars Stenchly (*2003) on the occasion of Berlin Art Week. His paintings combine classical painting traditions with contemporary symbols of war and peace. White doves, lambs, or flowers appear in fragile, politically charged image constellations, complemented by calligraphic comments and diagrams that remind of digital interfaces.

Stenchly's works question the limits of rational explanation in the face of suffering and violence and ask questions about the fragility of peace. Flowers become representatives of entire nations, symbols tip between beauty and brutality, ornament and reality.

With "UNFINISHED PEACE", CSR.ART presents a concentrated selection of his oil and acrylic paintings, which already receive international attention via social media. The exhibition does not understand peace as a state, but as an open, unfinished promise - and invites to understand this task as a common societal responsibility.
