BUSY, BUZZY...

 

… bumble bees! There’s a hive of activity on our BIKINI BERLIN rooftop: just in time for the official start of spring, we have given several bee colonies a home in the BienenBoxen (Bee Boxes) developed by non-profit company Stadtbienen (City Bees). The aim of Stadtbienen is to finance environmental education initiatives at schools and nurseries from the proceeds of corporate projects and to support nature conservation initiatives. Stadtbienen has set up the box on the BIKINI BERLIN rooftop and now that the busy, buzzy honey collectors have moved in, the team will continue to take care of them in accordance with ecological standards.
