Christmas with Stills & Strokes

Berlin artist duo Stills & Strokes, renowned for their eye-catching collages, is bringing the joys of Christmas to Bikini Berlin from Saturday, 26th November: for a space-spanning installation they have created their own Bikini Berlin wrapping paper. A 45-metre long, floating ribbon of paper strips will be presented both in front of the panorama window as well as in the entrance areas, getting shoppers into the festive spirit with its colours and patterns. But instead of classic festive patterns, the design is strikingly eye-popping and is sure to turn heads. Inspired by pop-art, the vibrant colours and attention-grabbing patterns run through the entire design.

Stills & Strokes is renowned for its poppy collages and has worked for brands like Diptyque Paris, Lamy, Nike and Zalando. Magazines like Interview Germany, GQ Italia, Flair Italia, Sleek and SZ Magazin enjoy working with the Berlin artists on fashion and lifestyle editorials. And they have also just designed a photo spread in the ‘Unikat’ supplement by Vogue. 

You can also take the artistic wrapping paper home with you! From 26th November up to and including 24th December you can have your purchases gift wrapped free of charge at the wrapping station on the ground floor of Bikini Berlin, or you can wrap them yourself. And you can choose from three different designs. The gift-wrapping station is open daily from 10:00 am – 8.30 pm. 

To boost your energy and get you in the festive spirit while you do your Christmas shopping, there will also be a number of tasting stalls on the ground floor of the mall: Wohlfarth-Schokolade will be offering delicious chocolate creations, Berliner Winter will be keeping you nice and warm with its legendary hot apple drink and Emory’s Cookies will be tempting your sweet tooth with homemade biscuits. And if you don’t want to forgo the more traditional culinary treats, you should wait in line at the stall of Rock Paper Café. Framed by the unique paper installation, our tasting stalls will also be decked out in full festive splendour. Come on over, we can’t wait to see you!
