Reading with the author Volker Kaminski
10.10. - 10.10.2025
Volker Kaminski reads three texts about artists, painters, and gallery owners at CSR.ART - sometimes bizarre, sometimes satirical, sometimes mysterious. It's about a love-blind artist, a defiant open-air painter on Tauentzien and finally about a large oil painting that changes independently.
Volker Kaminski, born and raised in Karlsruhe, studied German and Philosophy in Freiburg and Berlin, where he lives as a freelance writer. In addition to short stories and columns (Berliner Zeitung) and reviews, he has published numerous novels (e.g., "Red as Snow", "Face of a Murderer", "The Stranded"). So far, PalmArtPress has published "Heart Hand" (2021), "RUA 17" (2023), and "The Last Exam" (2024, revised new edition). The novel "BEAUTIFUL life", set in Karlsruhe, will be published in the fall of 2025. Since 2014, he has been a lecturer at the Alice Salomon University in Berlin, teaching in a master's program for Creative Writing. He has received several scholarships, including the Alfred Döblin scholarship, the scholarship of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation, and the Edenkoben Artist House scholarship.
