Paris, Milan, New York: When talking about the big fashion metropolises, there’s no getting past these cities. But for quite a while now they haven’t been the only places to set the international trends each season. These days the attention is increasingly moving toward the Nordics. And as a reflection of this, 15 Nordic designers from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden will be showcasing their current spring/summer collection as part of the Nordic Fashion Hub at BIKINI BERLIN during the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week. All designers have been handpicked by BIKINI BERLIN and the Nordic embassies to exhibit and sell their collections in a temporary exhibition from 28th June – 2nd July on the ground floor of the mall.
The list of participating designers includes Liisa Riski from Finland, who impresses with her clear, feminine and brightly coloured collection and Norwegian label byTiMo by Tine Mollatt, who creates timeless, romantic dresses. Classic elegance is provided by Dimmblá from Iceland – its designer Heidrun Osk Sigfusdottir draws her inspiration from the unique nature of her homeland. And also well-known brands like Ecco from Denmark and Vagabond from Sweden will be presenting their shoes at BIKINI BERLIN.
From 7:00 pm on 28th June, visitors of BIKINI BERLIN are cordially invited to celebrate the launch of the Nordic Fashion Hub over drinks. You will also have the opportunity to get to know the designers.
