BIKINI BERLIN is continuing its Christmas tradition and, from 30 November, surprising visitors once again with all the joys of the festive season at its popular gift-wrapping station. This year BIKINI BERLIN will be bathed in warm candlelight, which features both on the limited-edition wrapping paper and in the mall itself.  

Festive cosiness by candlelight – This Christmas, BIKINI BERLIN is presenting an installation consisting of 24 handmade ceramic candlestick holders made by artists and collectives from Berlin. The designs by well-known artists from the ceramic scene – including Danielle Magee, Jeremy Bellina and Maïa Beyrouti – are guaranteed to create a warm and cosy feeling this holiday season. 

The installation at BIKINI BERLIN will put the spotlight on the 24 candlestick holders. Together with the gift-wrapping station, visitors can soak in the intimate, relaxed atmosphere, slow down and pause for a moment. Our gift-wrapping paper is also an ode to candlelight and features all candlestick holders from the installation in a cool design. At a separate children’s handicrafts table, the mall’s littlest visitors can also get creative and reproduce their favourite candlestick holder using fast-drying modelling clay.

For even more festive tranquillity in their own four walls, all visitors have the chance to win their favourite candlestick holders to take home with them. All they need to do is come by and pick out their favourite design, write down the candlestick holder’s name and their contact details and pop their entry into the prize draw box.  

Both the installation and the gift-wrapping station will be open during the concept shopping mall’s regular opening hours (from Mondays to Saturdays, 10:00 am until 8:00 pm). You can buy your presents for friends and family at BIKINI BERLIN first and then have them wrapped for you, or for those who prefer to wrap their gifts themselves, it’s also possible to take the wrapping paper sheets home. There are three different designs of the exclusive paper to choose from. For a special festive season filled with warmth and yuletide wonder, what better way to finish off a Christmas shopping trip than with a little wander around the installation in the event space on the ground floor?

BIKINI BERLIN will also be openings its doors for Sunday shopping on 3 and 17 December, from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. On these two days, visitors will have the opportunity to use the mall’s photo booth for free and to take some fun souvenir photos. And on the weekends in Advent, you can also enjoy performances by choirs and pianists:
