Since 2018, Re-Use Berlin has been making a strong statement for sustainable consumption. The initiative of Berlin's Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection, and Environment not only makes secondhand, upcycling, and repair acceptable, but also stylish and creatively experienced.
The focus is on reuse - as a smart, individual, and resource-saving alternative to buying new. Whether through unique upcycling products, repair workshops, or innovative pop-up concepts - Re-Use Berlin inspires a more conscious handling of materials and creates new opportunities for sustainable consumption.
From 2020 to 2023, the Re-Use Superstore at Hermannplatz was the go-to place for sustainable shopping. Here, secondhand fashion, creative upcycling products, and interactive workshops came together. Since 2023, the concept has taken new paths with "Re-Use on Tour", bringing sustainable shopping alternatives directly to shopping centers and trade fairs.
After a successful start at the Green Week 2025, the next pop-up tour starts in February. The first stop: BIKINI BERLIN! Eight upcycling designers present extravagant fashion, original bags, and unique jewelry - sustainable style in its most beautiful form.
