House of Food by Berlin Food Week is the marketplace for hungry foodies and curious gourmets who want to try and buy the latest products and get to know the producers in person. Over 30 start-ups and producers will be on show at the BIKINI BERLIN concept shopping mall on Friday and Saturday, 24-25 September, from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.

House of Food rounds up the latest food trends making their way onto our plates. And plant-based foods are in the spotlight this time: Mondarella will be presenting the world’s first vegan mozzarella in brine. Swiss start-up Planted is showcasing its meat alternatives including plant-based chicken, pulled pork and kebab made from pea protein – with 100% natural ingredients and 0% additives. The oat milk powder by Blue Farm, which requires very little packaging, will also be represented. On sandwiches and pizzas, from Berlin will be presenting its purely plant-based tuna alternative (which is made from seaweed) to a large audience for the first time. WÜSTHOF will be showing off its new Calabrian knife range. And the long-awaited Mitte Home water purifier by Mitte will also be debuted to the public at BIKINI BERLIN.
