It all began in 1895 with a small knitting factory in the Sauerland region of Germany. Falke is one of the oldest family-run companies in the country: as one of the pioneers on the German market, they have been making nylon socks since the 1950s, which are as just as impressive today thanks to their premium-quality materials and excellent workmanship.
Also part of the Falke brand since 2008 is Burlington, a label that sounds a lot more British than it actually is! The truth is that Burlington originally comes from a small town in Bavaria. It became popular in the 80s for its socks with the typical Scottish argyle pattern. And this characteristic look can still be found in current collections, along with young designs with fashionable details, vibrant colours and on-trend styles.
Visit the Falke & Burlington pop-up box at Bikini Berlin until mid-January.
