NEW PERMANENT TENANTS AND POP-UP CONCEPTS

The mix of new tenants at BIKINI BERLIN is just as colourful and vibrant as spring itself. Brand-new permanent additions and temporary pop-up boxes are enhancing the offer of the concept shopping mall with interior & design, food, fashion, beauty and art. “Our focus is on the overall visitor experience at BIKINI BERLIN. With our constantly changing pop-up concepts, art exhibitions and events in addition to out-of-the-ordinary new permanent tenants such as the mydays Race & Fly Experience, we are setting new trends and creating authentic experiences that help us stand out from the crowd,” explains Antje Leinemann, Managing Director at BIKINI BERLIN.

MYDAYS RACE & FLY EXPERIENCE

Since 1 March 2018, it has not only been possible to get an adrenaline rush at BIKINI BERLIN from shopping: on an area of 750m², visitors can enjoy the only mydays Race & Fly Experience in Europe on the 2nd floor of the mall with access to the rooftop terrace. And it’s making childhood dreams come true: now you can finally become a pilot or racing driver! Take off high into the skies before landing back at the destination airport in a replica cockpit of a Boeing 737 or Airbus 320. But if you feel more at ease on asphalt, you can speed along virtual curves in Formula 1 cars or real GT3 Audi and Porsche racing cars.

To get your pulse back to normal after all that excitement, Michelin-starred chef Björn Swansson is serving exclusive culinary delights in the restaurant “The DAWG”, which can be enjoyed with wonderful views of Berlin Zoo.

OHDE MARZIPAN

An o(h)de to marzipan: This new permanent tenant at BIKINI BERLIN is a 38 m² paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. Ohde can already look back on a long tradition of making marzipan and, in cooperation with traditional company Moll & Lemke and master chocolate maker Sabine Dubenkropp, is now offering a variety of pralines from Berlin-Neukölln. And by purchasing their delicious creations, you are also doing a good deed as most of the proceeds go to social youth projects in the neighbourhood. In the production of these sweet treats, they attach great importance to design, quality and the purity of the ingredients. Ohde is also highlighting the fact that the trendy district of Neukölln has long since been home to creatives and culinarians and is also a real hotspot when it comes to the global production of marzipan. With numerous family-owned businesses, the district has been producing more marzipan than anywhere else in the world for 160 years. Ohde Marzipan opened its doors on the first floor of the concept shopping mall on 15 January.
