Here's What's Happening in October: 10 Events at BIKINI BERLIN
October is shaping up to be creative, culinary, and quite diverse: From contemporary art and Berlin independent design to Berlin Food Week and ceramics and jewelry workshops, there’s plenty going on at BIKINI BERLIN. Plus, Autumn Afterglow—a special fall after-work event—is making a comeback.
Here’s an overview of all the highlights:
Through Oct. 17 | Rei Zukidou: FUGUE OF BECOMING
Gallery SLP presents “Fugue of Becoming,” a solo exhibition by Berlin-based Japanese painter Rei Zukidou. On view are new and recent works by the artist. The exhibition runs through October 17 at BIKINI BERLIN.

Oct. 1 | Opening Reception for “MEIN BERLIN”
CSR.ART and Galerie Mond present the exhibition “MEIN BERLIN” by Jonas Hödicke. The opening reception will take place on October 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. At 7 p.m., an artist talk will offer visitors the chance to delve even deeper into the artist’s work.
The exhibition has been on view at CSR.ART at BIKINI BERLIN since September 22 and will remain there through October 17.

Oct. 9–10 | Berlin Food Week: House of Food
As part of Berlin Food Week, BIKINI BERLIN will once again become a meeting place for foodies and those eager to explore. At HOUSE OF FOOD, around 45 curated startups and artisan producers will showcase their products.
The focus is on trends for the coming years—including longevity-oriented nutrition, plant-based products, intense flavors, and gourmet items from traditional food artisans. This year’s guest country, Spain, will also be represented.
Visitors can sample products, shop, and speak directly with the exhibitors.

Oct. 9–10 | L'Atelier at the House of Food
L'Atelier will also be at the HOUSE OF FOOD during Berlin Food Week, bringing Turkish culinary delights to BIKINI BERLIN.
Visitors can sample the brand’s pomegranate syrup and enjoy classic Turkish apple tea. Plus, there’s a small free gift available on-site: apple tea or soap.

October 10 | Meet the Makers at WOMADE Berlin
As part of its official opening party, WOMADE Berlin invites you to get to know the brands and their founders. Look forward to live sessions and music.
Starting October 10 | RARE Collective Pop-up
25 independent Berlin-based designers, creatives, and artists are coming together at the RARE Collective at BIKINI BERLIN. The pop-up brings together various local labels and creative voices under one roof, inviting you to discover extraordinary design from Berlin.
From fashion and textiles to a variety of design and art projects, the Collective pop-up offers a platform for Berlin’s independent creative scene.

Oct. 10, 17, & 24 | Ceramics Workshops at WOMADE Berlin
In October, WOMADE Berlin, in collaboration with Tania Varela Ceramics, is hosting several creative ceramics workshops.
On October 10, “Black & White” will focus entirely on the hand-building technique. On October 17, ceramics and brunch will come together. And on October 24, you can use the hand-building technique to create your very own favorite piece.

Oct. 17 | Clay & Calm Workshop at Aestara
Slow Hands, Happy Mind: During Aestara’s three-hour Clay & Calm workshop, you’ll create your own jewelry from polymer clay, step by step.
All materials are provided, and at the end, you’ll take home two pairs of earrings you designed yourself. Participants will also receive a small gift from Aestara. A maximum of six people can participate per session.

Oct. 22 | Autumn Afterglow
Fall gets an after-work upgrade: Autumn Afterglow brings a cozy vibe back to BIKINI BERLIN. The event combines a relaxed living-room atmosphere with drinks and music, inviting you to wind down the fall evening together—complete with a special view of the Zoologischer Garten.
