This isn’t just a place to come for a quick bite in between shopping, but a unique culinary world that you’ll be hard pushed to find anywhere else in Berlin.

Open from Mon. to Sat. 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

As we all know, we eat with our eyes too – so here at Kantini, design lovers and architecture fans are served up an additional aesthetic feast alongside the food on their plates.

Designed and planned by Studio Aisslinger under the direction of Werner Aisslinger, the food market is an architectural gem in the heart of Berlin. The absolute highlight of the 1,800 m² space is the light-suffused loggia. With its huge panoramic window and direct views into the zoo, it exudes a light, bright and airy vibe that visitors love.

And of course we are also staying true to our pop-up concept when it comes to the food – because variety is the spice of life, after all!

A large bird aviary, as a design reference to the zoo opposite, regularly accommodates new eateries at food market stalls, who tantalise our taste buds with exciting innovations and specialities from the world of international cuisine.

Beef Brothers

The perfect meat feast

1st floor

Grilled burgers, juicy spareribs, tender pulled pork and crispy 68 Point Cherry pork belly – if you’re looking for the perfect meat feast, Beef Brothers at Kantini is the place to come!

Ever since they were children, brothers Jan-Paul and Felix Windhausen dreamt of running their own eatery, a wish they fulfilled in 2010. Never in their wildest dreams did they expect their concept to be such a hit, but their burgers with the freshest ingredients have proven incredibly popular among meat lovers. Originally from the Ruhr Region of Germany, they meanwhile own two burger joints in Cologne and Düsseldorf, a franchise restaurant in Essen and a food truck.

And now the brothers are also making their mark in Berlin at Kantini, where along with burgers and Co. they are also serving hungry guests delicious fries and sweet potato fries with homemade sauces, coleslaw and a great selection of refreshing drinks.
