Roboterdame Gisela

Germany's first humanoid sales robot

The hardest working employee at Bikini Berlin is without a doubt Gisela. 11 hours a day without a break, she sells the 3D toy robot Toybot™, which she assembles right in front of her customers’ eyes.

This makes Gisela a real innovation in the German retail sector. Customers can pay Gisela either in cash or by debit or credit card. The so-called workerbot is named after her inventor Matthias Krinke’s mother, who had quite a few similarities with the robotic lady – her hands-on approach, as well as the fact that she was good at dealing with money, liked to wear red and always had a smile on her face.
